The Saint Paul Fast Prayer

Heavenly Father, I am faced each day with decisions. Some appear minor, the kind I have no difficulty in making. Others may overwhelm me. I face a decision now about ___________________ and I need Your help. I need Your insight into my situation to better understand the problem. I need Your vision to see potential solutions to that problem. I also need Your wisdom and spiritual discernment to make the best decision in my situation. Lord, as I follow your leading in my life and observe the Saint Paul Fast, guide me through the decision-
making process. Grant me the insights I need to make decisions that bring glory and honor to You. Help me as I seek to implement my decision according to the biblical principles You have revealed to me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

The Saint Paul’s Fast

Aim: My Saint Paul is for wisdom and decision-making.

Vow: I will delight myself in the Lord so that my desire becomes what He wants in this decision. I will “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness” (Matt.6:33) I my life so I can follow His principles in analyzing and making a decision. I will seek the Lord for His answer to the problem. I am fasting because I want to make the best decision and be at the center of His will.
