Samuel’s Fast Prayer

Heavenly Father, in my own life, I sense a deep hunger and thirst for a
a deeper relationship with You. I am personally frustrated with my own spiritual impotence, and I long to see You work in a significant way in my life, my church, and my community. I believe You want to revive Your people so that a significant harvest of souls might be gathered in these days. Lord, as I follow Your leading in my life and observe the Samuel Fast, reveal things in my life that hinder my relationship with You and prevent You from working in and through my life. Grant me the grace to be receptive to Your Word and submit to Your will for me as You make it known. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Preparing for the Samuel’s Fast

Aim: The Samuel Fast for revival and soul-winning.

Affirmation: I believe in the power of God to revive individuals and people. I believe God will pour Himself out on His people and send times of refreshing from his presence. I believe when people humble themselves, pray, seek God’s renewal, and turn from their wicked ways, God will respond. Therefore, I will fast and pray for revival and soul-winning.

Vow: God being my strength and grace being my basis, I commit myself to the Samuel Fast for God’s gory.
